In which Friends and supporters of The Advocates radio program and its host Niel Young of Laconia gather for a late spring luncheon at the home of Ken and Holli Gorrell on Shaker Road, Northfield, NH...this included good food and drink, some joking around...and lots of political talk...

Scenes from a social for supporters of The Advocates radio program (WEZS-AM, Laconia, NH) and Host Niel Young, held at the home of Ken and Holli Gorrell in Belmont, NH, shortly after the 2006 mid-term election, wherein the Republican Party in New Hampshire took the tank...And not letting the results of said election get them down one bit! Amen.

Mr. Young is a former Laconia City Councilman and NH State Representative. He also hosts a daily radio program, The Advocates on WEZS-AM, Laconia, NH. See LINK. Mr. Young's column has appeared in The Weirs Times. Email Niel at advocates@weirs.com. Niel was the primary leader of a movement to establish a Tax Cap in the City of Laconia, with Jennie Watson and others, which has saved Lake City taxpayers thousands of dollars in property taxes over the years since it was adopted in 2005.
